Welcome to the Uniontown Chestnut Ridge Rotary Club

We meet at 12:00 p.m. on the second, fourth and fifth Wednesday of every month at Marilyn’s on Main in downtown Uniontown.

Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders. Rotarians provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace throughout the world.

There are more than 1.25 million Rotarians in over 31,000 Rotary Clubs in 166 countries worldwide. Rotary Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious and open to all cultures, races and creeds. Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women.

The main objective of Rotary is Service. Rotarians provide service in the community, workplace, and throughout the world. We develop community service projects to address issues including children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. Rotary supports educational scholarship programs, international exchange programs for students, teachers and other professionals, and supports a leadership development program, called Interact, for local high school students.

Each Rotary Clubs develops local service programs and are united worldwide in the Polio Plus Program - a campaign for the global eradication of polio. Rotarians donated over $650 million to immunize all the world’s children by the year 2005 to coincide with Rotary's Centennial. Rotary provides an army of volunteers to assist at National Immunization Days in polio-endemic countries around the world.

Rotary's Motto: Service Above Self

The 4-Way Test of all things we say and do:
Is it the truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it bring good will and better friendships?
Is it beneficial to all concerned?
